Kitchen cabinet sourcing from China
For homes, multifamily developments and hospitality projects, start with a measured plan and a clear cabinet schedule.
Discuss your sourcing brief
Specify the details that matter
Share cabinet dimensions, door style, finish, cabinet construction, hardware and appliance schedules. Identify framed or frameless preferences and whether you need assembled or ready-to-assemble cabinets.
Coordinate before manufacture
Confirm appliance clearances, fillers, service positions, countertop responsibilities and installation details with your project team. Drawings and samples should be approved before production.
Plan the import route
Destination requirements and import costs depend on the product and buying arrangement. We confirm classification, applicable duties and documentation with our licensed customs broker before you place an order.
Compare cabinet quotations on the same specification
Ask each supplier to quote the same cabinet schedule. Record carcass material and thickness, door finish, drawer construction, hinges, runners, handles and packing. Identify whether countertops, sinks, appliances and installation are included or supplied separately.
Assembled or ready-to-assemble cabinets?
Ready-to-assemble cabinets require an agreed assembly plan and clearly labeled components. Assembled cabinets need more packing space. Ask for packed dimensions and compare freight alongside your installer's labor before choosing.
Importing kitchen cabinets into the United States
Wooden cabinets and vanities from China are subject to US antidumping and countervailing duty orders. We have our licensed customs broker check the actual product scope, exporter and current charges before you pay a deposit. A factory price alone is not a landed-cost comparison.
Read the US cabinet and furniture import checklist, including official sources.
Can I source ready-to-assemble kitchen cabinets?
Include your preference for ready-to-assemble or assembled cabinets in the brief. Confirm the supplier's packing method, hardware, assembly instructions and final dimensions before ordering.
Plan your next step
Review planning an international order and custom closet specifications, then send your project brief with the products and destination.
